Memorial services will be held for Dorothy Little (Hamilton), 86, of Roswell at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at First Assembly of God with Pastor Melvin Suttle. She passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013.
Dorothy was born on September 17, 1926, to Perney and Orta Mae Hamilton in Paducah, Texas. She was an active member of First Assembly of God until she became ill. She loved to work in her garden, baking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends. She was also in the Foster Grandparents program at Washington Avenue School.
She is survived by her children, Wally Little and his wife, Toni, of Spring Creek, Nevada; Rayburn Little and his wife, Terri, of Bakerville, Calif.; Rowena Glosser and her husband, Gordon, of Champaign, Ill. and Kedric Little of Roswell; thirteen grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Perney (P.W.) Wayne Hamilton, of North Little Rock, Ark.; Nathaniel Hamilton, of Miller, Mo.; Aaron Hamilton, of Roswell; two sisters, Barbara Prince, of Raton, N.M. and Naomi Goodyear, of Nixa, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John William (Ed), and son Kenneth Little.
