Police were called to a local hospital, Tuesday, after a 28-year-old male shot himself in the foot. The person said that the injury was an accident. He refused to provide further information on the location or circumstances surrounding the incident.
•Police received a report of theft, Monday. The individual stated that sometime between Sunday and Monday, subjects took two pit bulls from a yard on West Eyman Street. The male is 6 to 7 years old and is described as mean. The female is 1 to 2 years old. No further description was given.
•Police were dispatched to Beauty & Barber in the 700 block of West Hobbs, Tuesday, after several juveniles removed a sign and threw it through a window at Farmers Country Market.
•Police were called to the 1600 block of North Delaware, Wednesday, after a Craftsman Rototiller was stolen from a back yard.
•Police were called to Roswell Livestock & Farm Supply, 1105 E. Second St., Tuesday, where a 61-year-old male left his vehicle unlocked. When he returned to his vehicle, a laptop and iPod were gone. Missing items were valued at $2,220.
•Police responded to a call from Van Luven Place, Tuesday, where a 42-inch television, valued at $540, was stolen.
•Police were dispatched to the 400 block of West Forest Street, Tuesday. Investigation revealed that the door had been pried open. The victim reported electronics, $1,000 in cash and $100 worth of makeup had been removed from the residence.
•Police were called to the 900 block of West Deming Street, Wednesday. The front door was forced open and $1,209 worth of electronics were stolen.
