Police Blotter: Vandals tag home, knock over wall

•Police were called to the 1600 block of South Madison Avenue, Tuesday, where subjects entered the garage of the vacant home and sprayed graffiti on the interior walls. In addition, the subjects knocked over a decorative brick wall. Damages were estimated at $1,000.
Police were dispatched to the 900 block of West Hendricks Street, [auth] Wednesday. Subjects broke two windows and one door in a home under rennovation. Repairs were estimated at $465.

•Police were called to the 700 block of South Main Street, Wednesday, where subjects removed a 37-inch manhole cover, valued at $970. This is the third incident this month. The first incident occurred on the 200 block of East Frazier, the second in the 1000 block of South Main Street.
•Police were dispatched to Walmart, 4500 N. Main St., Wednesday, after a shopper returned to a vehicle and discovered two wheel covers and a lugnut had been stolen.
•Police were called to the 900 block of Davidson Drive, Wednesday. The victim reported that a 9 mm handgun, valued at $400, had been taken from a vehicle.
