THE VILLAGES, Fla. — William “Bill” Joseph Bumbarger, 56, left t[auth] his world peacefully, Feb. 14, 2013, at The Villages, Fla., surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 14, 1956, in Roswell, N.M. The time he spent in Roswell, he served in the United States Army. Later he moved to Florida, where he pursued his career in auto sales. His hobby was clearly collecting guns, a collection of which he was very proud. He also loved fishing, spending time on his boat out in the ocean with his family, which was also a very big part of his life. But his pride and joy was spending time with his granddaughter Emma. He is survived by his wife Linda Bumbarger, of Florida; stepchildren, Heather and Devin Smith, of Florida; children, Lauren, Keen and Sarah Bumbarger of Florida; granddaughter Emma Brashaer, of Florida; father William B (Carol) Bumbarger, of Florida; mother Viola (David) Barela, of New Mexico; brothers, Roger (Anette) Bumbarger, of New Mexico, and Anthony (Isabel) Barela, of New Mexico; sisters, Lisa Barela, of New Mexico, Dee Ann Bumbarger, of New Mexico, and Rebecca Nason, of Florida; his Aunt Linda, whom loved very much; his Uncle Dee, with whom he enjoyed skyping; and other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly.
