Carl Gene Branscum peacefully left this world to join his Lord and Savior on March 16, 2013.
He was born March 17, 1964. Carl lived in Roswell his entire life. Carl Branscum was a loving husband to his wife of eight years and the love of his life Dana. He was a proud veteran who served his country in the Army, where he drove a [auth] tank. He also loved his profession as a truck driver. He drove for more than 20 years. He loved his animals. He loved all his animals and he wouldn’t let any animal suffer. Any stray became a family pet in his eyes. He had several horses, many dogs and a couple of cats.
His hobbies included flying model airplanes and working on old cars. If he could he would help anyone. He has a personal relationship with God. Carl will be deeply missed by everyone with whom he came into contact.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sylvester Branscum and Lela Hoosier; and a sister Caroline Branscum.
He is survived by his loving wife Dana; a sister Glenda Branscum; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins and many friends.
A memorial service will be held for Carl Branscum at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Ferguson officiating.
