Police Blotter: Hospital patient accused of battery and assault

Police were dispatched to Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, 405 West Country Club Road, Friday, after a patient who came into the emergency room became violent. The police records state the person battered two emergency room staff, one member of Superior Ambulance service and assaulted another. The suspect was charged with three [auth] counts of battery on a health care worker and one count of assault upon a health care worker.

Police were called to Chili’s, 4502 N. Main St., Friday, where subjects broke into a vehicle and removed an Alltel touch screen telephone and a wallet.

Police received a walk-in report of harassment and stalking, Saturday. The victim reported loaning a laptop computer to a friend. When it was returned the individual discovered files and software had been deleted. In addition, the victim suspects information had been stolen from the computer. When the victim confronted the friend, the harassment and stalking began.

Criminal damage
Police responded to Fergie’s Plumbing and Heating, 105 S. Union Ave., Friday, after subjects attempted to gain entry into the yard by crashing into a metal gate.
