License plates
The Walker Aviation Museum is seeking license plates from the Roswell Army Air Field and/or Walker Air Force Base to support a project being conducted by the New Mexico Department of Transportaion. Caregiver support

The Woodmen of the World Fraternal Society in Roswell will have its regular dinner meeting on Tuesday, March 12, at 6 p.m. at Kwan Den Restaurant, 1000 W. Flu shots
The New Mexico Department of Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico are offering free adult and child flu shots, adult pneumonia shots, Tdap vaccine (to cover whooping cough) and childhood immunizations on Wednesday, March 13, at the McDonald’s UFO Restaurant on Main Street in Roswell. Alzheimer’s Assoc.
“Aging Safely in The Home” will be the topic of a pair of free education sessions delivered by the Alzheimer’s Association, New Mexico Chapter, Thursday, March 14, at the Roswell Adult and Senior Center, 807 N. Missouri Ave. The program will be offered at 9 a.m. and at 6 p.m. and will deliver practical techniques for ensuring home safety and wandering prevention. No reservations needed. Morning Garden Club

Dr. Sebastian Lopez of Zia Medical Associates will speak at Healthsense at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at Senior Circle, 2801 N. Main St., next to Family Dollar. March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Dr. Lopez will address cancer and the importance of colonoscopies. The program is free and open to the public. A light lunch will be served. Note the change in day. Dr. Lopez, a general surgeon who also does colonoscopies, does surgeries on Fridays, the usual Healthsense day.
