A graveside service is scheduled for Earl Mack Bragg, 73, of Roswell, at 2 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013, at Angus Cemetery, Bonita Park. He passed away on March 5, 2013.
Earl was born Jan. 17, 1940, to Everett Emezy Bragg and Jewel Agnes Bullard, in Carrizozo. Earl was raised in Carrizozo and lived 11 years in Roswell, where he had family and friends. Earl joined the Air Force, where he received Secret clearance in 1958 and was discharged in 1964. He was one of the best cowboys ever to mount a [auth] horse. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, just enjoyed the great outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Beverly Ann Fox, of the family home; his sons, Tom Alfred Bragg, of Roswell, and Johnny Mack Bragg, of Roswell; his daughter Belinda Lynn Bragg, of Goose Creek, S.C.; grandchildren, Michael William Bragg and wife Heather, of Roswell, Beth Ann Hunt and husband Rue, of Roswell, Jennifer Lee Bragg, of Norman, Okla., Tina Marie Bragg, of Roswell, Ashley Anderson, of Joplin, Mo., Everett Emezy Bragg, of Carlsbad, Joshua Tye Bragg, of Roswell, and Zachary Mack Bragg, of Roswell; sisters, Mary Livesay and husband Albert, of Odessa, Texas, Sharon White, of Roswell, and Sarah Russell, of Oklahoma; brothers, Joseph Ferguson and wife Toni, of Phoenix, James Ferguson and wife Sharon, of Safford, Ariz., and Jack Ferguson and wife Julie, of Roswell; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Earl was preceded in death by his father Everett Emezy Bragg; mother Jewel Agnes Ferguson; stepfather John Edward Ferguson; brothers, Johnny Mack Bragg and George Bragg; and sisters Evelyn Jewel Garvey and Shirley Ann Cain.
Pallbearers will be Rue Hunt, Michael Bragg, Randel Salley, Joshua Bragg, Chris Ferguson and Tom Bragg.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Runnels, Henry Vega and Jack Heffner.
