Barbara was born on Jan. 1, 1911, to Phillip and Margaret Komloske in Sterling, Colo.
Barbara married Adam Weingardt on Jan. 21, 1930, in Sterling, the year the beets froze in.
Barbara and Adam had four children. Three lived to adulthood, Dolores Barrows, of Roswell; Bob Weingardt, of Phoenix, now deceased, and Bill Weingardt of Casa Grande, Ariz.
Barbara lived in Colorado until she moved to Roswell, in May 2010 to spend more time with Dolores and Barbara Barrows.
Those left to remember her are her daughter Dolores Barrows, of Roswell; her son Bill Weingardt and daughter in-law Linda, of Casa Grande; her daughter in-law Rita Weingardt-Jones, of Goodyear, Ariz.; grandchildren, Barbara Barrows of Roswell, Denise Brammer and husband Ray, of Longmont, Colo., Greg Weingardt and wife Michelle, of Wickenburg, Ariz., Tracy Weingardt-Colville, of Goodyear, Greg Ottonger and wife Alice, of Gottingen, Germany, and Michelle Hess and husband Kerry, of Johnstown, Colo.; and great-grandchildren, AJ and Aisa Brammer, Thomas and Jordan Weingardt, Casey Colville and Kaitlyn Hess.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Alex, Fred, Ben and Reinholt; son Bob; and son-in-law Ray Barrows.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Charlie Martinez officiating.
