NM DPS: Body found identified as a Pecos woman

SANTE FE, N.M. (AP) — State authorities say the body of a woman found earlier this month just outside the village of [auth] Rowe has been identified.

New Mexico Department of Public Safety officials announced Wednesday that the victim is 23-year-old Ginger Encinias, of Pecos.

A DPS helicopter spotted the body on Feb. 19 on Rowe Mesa.

State police say the cause of death hasn’t been released yet by the medical examiner’s office and the investigation into her death is continuing.
