Police Blotter: Vandals hit Discount Tire

Police responded to an alarm call at Discount Tire, 3701 N. Main St. around 1:15 a.m. Thursday. The officer observed multiple windows shot out and bullet holes in the structure. A representative of the company said the damages exceeded $14,000.

•Police were dispatched to Sandoval Auto Sales, 1800 W. Second St., Monday, where subjects stole a Ford Taurus, four-door sedan, valued at $8,600.
•Police responded a call [auth] from the 700 block of West 10th Street, Monday, where a man saw three male subjects removing two large spools of barbed wire from a yard. He spoke with one of the subjects, described as a Hispanic male, and asked him what they were doing. The two men went to the front of the building to knock on the door. The two other subjects, both described as white males, took off in a blue hatchback while the third subject fled on foot.
•Police were dispatched to the Western Inn, 2331 N. Main St., Monday, after two 42-inch Sony LCD televisions, valued at $980, and a black refrigerator, valued at $500, were stolen from a room.

Police were called to the 2700 block of Highland Road, Monday. Officers discovered the back door to a garage had been kicked down. The victim reported that a set of railroad crossing lights, a Craftsman drill press, a white Kitchenaid icemaker and a push lawnmower were missing. The items were valued at $2,400,
