Police Blotter: Subjects steal batteries, cable

Police were dispatched to the 5300 block of N. Main, Thursday, where subjects removed two 12-volt batteries from an excavator, one crossover cable for the batteries, and one 12-volt battery from a loader. The items were valued at $830.

Police responded to the 100 block of South Missouri [auth] Avenue, Thursday. The victim stated that between 9 p.m. on Monday and 4:05 p.m. on Thursday, unknown subject(s) pried open the back door and took electronics and cash totaling more than $1,000.

Found property
Police were called to the 1200 block of West McGaffey, Thursday, after a backpack with miscellaneous fishing equipment was located. Police were able to reunite the pack with its owner.

Theft of Services
Police were dispatched to Chili’s, 4500 N. Main St., Thursday evening, where two women consumed food and drink, valued at $53.81, and then left the restaurant without paying.
