Visitation for Curtis Monroe Miller Sr., 69, of Roswell, will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Anderson-Bethany Funeral home 9 to 10 a.m., with a graveside service to follow at 1 p.m. at Family Cemetery in Loco Hills, New Mexico.
Curtis was born in Roscoe, Texas, on May 19, 1943, to Curtis W. Miller and Bertie Byars. Curtis was a self-employed truck driver. He loved to talk on his hand-held and was known as “Caveman.”
Those left to cherish his memory are his five children, Rodney Leon Miller, Aaron Lewis Miller, James Everett Miller, Abery Miller and Crystal Dawn Miller; the love of his life, Marilyn Tina Brisco, of the home; Jimmy Miller, Mike Rogers, Carolyn Gardner, his ex-wife Leta Gay Miller; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; daughter-in-laws, Melissa Miller and Rachel Miller; best friends, Gary and Roxanna James; special children, Armando Campuzano, Donna Yougas, Brannon Shelton and Sarah English; and his dog Punk.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis W. Miller and Bertie Byars, his brother Robert Dale Miller, Frank Miller, Curtis Miller Jr., Ernest Dean Miller, and grandson Shalako Miller.
