Funeral services will be held for Billie Jo Pyeatt, 88, of Roswell, at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in South Park Cemetery. Billie passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.
Billie was born Feb. 8, 1924, to Willis and Ida (Lafevers) Shaw, in Ardmore, Okla. She worked for 27 years and was retired civil service. She was a wonderful mother and raised her children to believe and know the Lord. She also loved reading books, especially the Bible, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Tommy Pyeatt and his wife Joanie, of Arizona, Steven Pyeatt and his wife Barbara, of Arizona, Mildred Parker and her husband Kenneth, of Arkansas, Gwen Berg and her husband Garland, of Roswell, and Eddie Pyeatt, of Texas; her granddaughter Renee Medrano, of Roswell; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas “Teeter” Floyd Pyeatt; her parents Willis and Ida Shaw; three sisters; one brother; her daughter Leah Dalton; and her grandson Allen Sieg.
Pallbearers will be Eric Graves, Brandon Berg, Cory Grant, Troy Berg, Zack Martinez and TJ Pyeatt, Sebastian Ross.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Pyeatt, Steven Pyeatt, Eddie Pyeatt, Garland Berg and Kenneth Parker.
