Police Blotter: Vehicle registration, battery removed from company vehicle

•Police were called to the 3300 block of South Sunset Avenue, Sunday, after a subject gained access to a vehicle owned by Strong Construction Company of Carlsbad and removed the vehicle registration and the battery.
•Police received a walk-in report of a burglary, Sunday, where subjects entered a vehicle and removed a Xerox box containing two money bags and an undisclosed amount of cash.
•Police were dispatched to the 700 block of South Heights Drive, Saturday, after subjects broke though the back door. The victim reported more than $1,000 worth of items missing, including a Nintendo Wii with three controllers, [auth] 10 Wii games, some jewelry, cash and a purse.
•Police were called to the 1900 block of South Main Street, Saturday, where subjects removed all the vehicle emblems from a 2011 Mitsubishi, scratching the paint on the vehicle. Repair and replacement costs were estimated at $1,000.
•Police responded to the 600 block of South Michigan Avenue, Saturday. The victim found the back door pried open. The subjects also broke into a trailer containing plumbing equipment. A mattress had been placed in front of a window to block the view and numerous items from the bedroom had been moved to the kitchen.
•Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of West College Boulevard, Saturday. A MPA defender .45 caliber firearm, valued at $488.99, was reported stolen.
•Police responded to Sears, 1000 S. Main St., Friday. A store representative stated that a 40-inch Samsung television, a 32-inch Proscan and a 26-inch Magnavox, valued at $1,029, were stolen. The officer reported that the glass door had been shattered and three security cameras appeared to be missing.

Criminal damage
Police were dispatched to the 200 block of North Richardson Avenue, Saturday, after subjects damaged two horse trailers. Both had their tires slashed and punctured. The victim reported damage to the body of one of the trailers.

Found property
Police were called to the 200 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue, Saturday, where a man found a J.C. Higgins Model 20 shot gun in the bed of his pick up.

Police responded to the 300 block of South Beech Avenue, Saturday. The victim reported being attacked and stabbed by two male subjects somewhere in the 900 block of South Elm Avenue.
