Patricia Robbins Trewitt, 76, passed away at her home in Yuma, Ariz., just after midnight on Jan. 26, 2013. She passed from this life surrounded by her loved ones, friends and neighbors.
Patricia’s husband, James Carrol Trewitt, preceded her in death in 2002.
Patricia was born in Parsons, Kan., on Feb. 8, 1936, and graduated from Harding Academy High School in 1954. Patricia and James were married in Tulsa, Okla., on March 27, 1954, and were longtime residents of Roswell. Patricia spent most of her adult life as a homemaker and enjoyed children, painting and writing.
Patricia is lovingly remembered by her daughter Kathrine Ann Nunn and husband Jeff of Amarillo, Texas; daughter Terri Lynne Shill and husband Scott of Yuma, Ariz., and her son Gregory D. Trewitt and wife Debbie of Denver. Grandchildren include Johnna Rhea Purcell, Brenna Lynn Smiley and Samuel Jarrod Nunn of Amarillo, Texas, and Megan Kate Shill and Sara Lindsey Shill of Yuma, Ariz. Patricia is also survived by nine great-grandchildren residing in Amarillo, Texas.
The family is hosting a visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, at the Funeraria Del Angel, 795 W. 28th Street, Yuma, Ariz.
The family would like to thank Patricia’s kind neighbors, Chad and Donna Smith, Erica and Larry Mann and Charity May for their tender care during her illness.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at South Park Cemetery, 3101 S Main Street, Ros-well.
