Around Town: Pancake breakfast at the Salvation Army

Pancake Breakfast
The Salvation Army’s monthly pancake breakfast will be this Saturday, Jan. 19, from 7- 11 a.m. at 612 West College Blvd. One-trip buffet style includes pancakes, waffles, omelets, eggs any style, biscuits and gravy, hash browns and egg casseroles. Please come join us.

Planetary Voyage
This Saturday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m., the Goddard Planetarium will present “Larry, Cat in Space,” the adventures of a cat who follows his human to the moon. It’s free, and there will be activities for children after the program. On Tuesday at 7 p.m., Family Science Night at Goddard Planetarium will present “Colors and Polymers” for your squishy entertainment. In our story corner, to go along with the fun, we will read “Diary of a Worm.” Come and have fun with us. It’s free as well. See you then.

MLK Rally
There will be a Martin Luther King Jr. Day rally, ‘Eracism,’ at Pioneer Plaza Monday, Jan. 21, from 12-1 p.m. The public is invited to march and help unite the community against racism.
