Services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Kimberly Ann Hobbs Niece, 35, of Roswell, who passed away Jan. 6, 2013, in Roswell. Danny Sons of Midway Family Church will conduct the service. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.
Kimberly was born Jan. 28, 1977, in Amherst, Texas, to mother Lela Wright and father Ray G. Hobbs. Her mother survives her in Hondo and her dad in Gila.
She is survived by her adoring daughter Michaela Corn and her dearest son Cutter Bilbrey. Her oldest brother Raymond Scott Hobbs shared a sense of adventure with his sister often taking Kimberly and her children mud bogging, four wheeling and many other outdoor activities. Kimberly’s younger sister Faith Hobbs lives in Odessa, Texas, and brother Daniel Hobbs in Gila.
Kim is survived by her ex-husband Joe Niece.
She is survived by grandparents, Cyloma Durham Waggoner and Tom, and Scott Wright and Kathy and Lola Jean Hobbs. She has many loving and kind aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.
Kimberly was actively involved in Pecos Valley Horseman and 4-H with her two children, and often competed in equine events alongside Michaela and Cutter. Kimberly spent her childhood years in West Texas until moving home to Roswell in 1989. She was a graduate of Goddard High School.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Ray, Shannon Ernst, Johnny Valenzuela, Jim Livingston, Dillon Thompson, Kyle Martin, with Dustin Wilson and Jason Hannigan serving as honorary pallbearers.
