Police Blotter: 3-year-old husky stolen

•Police were called to the 1300 [auth] block of North Washington Avenue, Wednesday, where someone entered a yard and took a 3-year-old husky, described as grey, black and white with blue eyes. The victim’s owner said that the dog suffered from hip problems. The dog is microchipped.
•Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Brazos Court, Tuesday. The victim reported damage to the hasp and locks on back and side doors of a trailer. Several items were missing, including a 2-ton hydraulic floor jack, a leaf blower, a Craftsman 4-tray tool box, a cordless drill, a cordless mini-cutter, an 18-gauge nail gun, an orbital sander and a square sander. The victim estimated damages of $750 and losses at $2,261.

Criminal trespass
Police responded to the 100 block of North Lea Avenue, Tuesday, where a homeless subject had set up housekeeping. The owner noticed a makeshift bed the first time on Dec. 12. He returned to the residence on Jan. 2 and discovered the lights on and a bed made of blankets still on the floor.
