Virgin Mobile cell phone found at Post Office

[auth] Police were called by the U.S. Post Office at 497 W. Brasher Road, Tuesday, after an employee located a black-and-gray Virgin Mobile cell phone in a mail drop box. The phone was turned over to the police and booked into the property room.


Police were dispatched to Ray Place, Tuesday. The victim reported that two pieces of jewelry, valued at $1,200, were missing.


Police responded to Farmers Country Market at 600 W. Second St., Tuesday. A representative of the company said three juveniles stole two gallons of Arizona tea, oatmeal raisin cookies, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and three liters of orange drink. One of the three was apprehended.


Police were called to the 500 block of North Missouri Avenue, Tuesday, to take a report of a theft of some $500 worth of items from a workshop in the 500 block of West Fifth Street.
