Police were called to the 100 block of South Washington Avenue, Thursday, where a man reported a Glock 22 .40 caliber handgun with a magazine and night vision scope missing from his vehicle. He said he noticed the gun was not in the glove box on Monday. He estimated the value of the firearm at $500.
Police were dispatched to the intersection of Third Street and Orchard Avenue, Thursday. The woman reported shots fired Wednesday night and handed police shell casings she had found in her yard.
Police responded to a call from the 600 block of South Ohio Avenue, Thursday, after a man discovered 40 bullets in the street in front of his home.
