ROSWELL, N.M. (AP) — Sheriff’s deputies in southeastern New Mexico are investigating the deaths of two people.
Albuquerque television station KRQE reports (http://bit.ly/SheCXi) that a man’s body was found smoldering along a road near Lake Arthur on Thursday morning. The discovery was made by a county worker.
In the second case, a hunter and his son found a man dead Monday near an oilfield site.
Authorities say the bodies have been sent to the Office of the Medical Investigator in Albuquerque for identification. Investigators will also try to determine how the two men died.
