Albuquerque police: Man bit off part of man’s ear

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Police [auth] say a man is facing charges after he reportedly beat another man in downtown Albuquerque then bit off part of his ear.

KOB-TV reports ( that authorities say Dustin Toledo bit the man’s ear Saturday morning after Toledo got into an argument with his girlfriend.

Albuquerque police say Toledo was upset that his girlfriend was at the Embassy Suites with her friends.

According to a criminal complaint, Toledo attacked his girlfriend in the hotel’s lobby.

As he was running away a man told police that Toledo beat him up and bit off part of his ear.

Toledo is charged with aggravated battery and damage to property.

It was unclear if he had an attorney.
