HOBBS, N.M. (AP) — Hobbs lawyer Craig La Bree has been appointed to an open seat on the Lea County Magistrate Court bench.
Gov. Susana Martinez’s office announced La Bree’s appointment Friday. La Bree will be filling the vacancy left by resigning Judge Barry Peters.
La Bree runs a private practice where he specializes in personal injury and commercial law. He has been practicing law in New Mexico for 20 years.
La Bree graduated from George Mason University and received his law degree from Pepperdine University.
