In 1990, she returned to her first love, nursing. She continued to work in nursing after she and Jim relocated to Roswell.

She is survived by her husband Jim Clark and their children, Rex Clark, Rebecca Clark Edwards, and Jaie Clark Oberlin and her husband Peter. She also leaves her grandson Kyle Edwards and the amazing memory of her second grandson Todd James Edwards.
