Lorra[auth] ine M. Dombrowski, of Roswell, passed away Oct. 29, 2012. She was born in Minneapolis, Nov. 14, 1922, to Fred and Rosa Peterson, who preceded her in death. She was predeceased also by sisters Evelyn and Lenore and brothers Donald, Irvin and Floyd.
She first came to Roswell as a snowbird in 1979 and moved here permanently in 1986. She met Leonard Dombrowski in Roswell and married him in 1992. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son Jon Lindman and his wife Sandra of Grand Junction, Colo.; her daughters, Dr. Barbara Lindman, of Oxford, Iowa, and Bonnie Lindman, of Pine City, Minn.; her sister Gertrude Hokanson, of Minneapolis; her former husband Allen Lindman; her grandchildren, Tracy Shanker and her husband Michael, Erik Lindman, and Sarah and Daniel Goflstein; and great-grandchildren, Stella and Natalie. She is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Chaparral Rockhound Club and a volunteer of Roswell Hospice. She started Norwegian get-togethers in 1995. She loved people.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Doug Mills officiating.
