NM plate LSA594 taken off auto at Walmart

Police received a report of theft, Monday, after a woman discovered her license plate had been stolen while she was parked at Walmart, 4500 N. Main St. The victim told officials that her plate was in place when she placed something in her vehicle, but when she returned from the store, it was [auth] gone. The license number is LSA594.


Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of North Lea Avenue, Monday, where subjects broke into a shed and a garage. A witness said he saw a car in the driveway around 6 a.m., but it was too dark to make out the model or color of the vehicle. The victim reported that losses included many tools, a Samurai sword set, a saw, a compressor, and a nail gun. He estimated the losses at $9,000 to $10,000.

Stolen vehicle

Police received a phone-in report, Monday, after a victim discovered that his SUV had been stolen from his driveway in the 2200 block of Barnett Drive. The vehicle is a 2012 Lincoln Navigator, tag number 803RJW.
