Police were dispatched to the 700 block of La Jolla Lane, Wednesday, where subjects threw two gallon-sized garbage bags full of motor oil into a swimming pool. The victim believed the sack had been tossed over the back fence from the alley.
•Police were called to the 500 block of East Second Street, Thursday, after a white custom bicycle and a Makita power drill were taken from a yard. The victim stated that he saw the bike and backpack containing the drill around 6:30 p.m. At 7:30, he noticed they were missing. The items were valued at $300.
• Police responded to a call to a construction site in the 900 block of West Hobbs Street, Wednesday, where subjects removed two 1,000-foot spools of copper wire, valued at $500.
•Police were dispatched to the 600 block of South Wyoming Avenue, Wednesday, where someone gained entry into the residence and removed an MP3 player, a backpack, clothing and a coffee table set. The items were valued at $2,010.
•Police were called to the 100 block of South Ohio Avenue, Wednesday. The victims reported that someone entered the residence sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and removed “almost everything,” including large pieces of furniture. Investigation revealed damage to the door where the subjects attempted to gain access.
•Police responded to La Casita, 305 S. Main St., Wednesday, after subjects tore a hole in a wall, causing $200 worth of damage, entered the restaurant and stole change from the cash register.
•Police were dispatched U.S.A. Title Loans, 205 S. Main St., Wednesday, after subjects removed a piece of plywood from a window to gain access. Nothing was reported stolen.
