Astronomy Club
There will be a Moon Gaze this Saturday at Cielo Grande. Members should be there an hour and a half before sunset. For more information, call Peg at 420-9955.

Football Camp
The Roswell Parks & Recreation Department is sponsoring a [auth] football clinic for boys and girls ages 6-14 from Monday-Thursday. Technique, skills, and rules will be covered to improve performance in this sport. Cost is $25. The football camp will be offered at Cielo Grande Recreation Area from 8:30 a.m.-noon each day of the camp. Coach Kenny Pittman, along with football specialists Damian Cheatem and Andrew Manzanares and other highs school football standouts will be conducting the trainings. All participants need to bring their own water bottles, sunscreen, and a healthy snack. Call the Yucca Recreation Center for registration information at 624-6719 or stop by at 500 S. Richardson Ave.
Stampers Unite
The Senior Circle Scrappy Stampers are holding workshops at 9:30 a.m. every Wednesday beginning this Wednesday and going through Aug. 22 at Senior Circle, 2801 N. Main St., next door to Family Dollar. The first Wednesday will be on dry and wet embossing. The second Wednesday will be on bleaching. There is no charge.
