Unpaid-for 5th wheel goes missing from yard

Police were called to 1400 block of East Country Club Road, Monday, to take a report about a theft. The victim stated that a fifth-wheel trailer had been removed from the yard. The police were told that the trailer had been sold [auth] and either not paid for, or with only partial payment made.

The officer informed the victim that this was a civil issue and the matter had to be pursued in a civil suit.

Missing person

Police received a report of a missing 81-year-old woman, Monday. The caller said that the woman had taken off in a vehicle and he was unsure if she could find her way home. The RPD registered her as missing person on National Crime Information Center. However, the woman returned to her residence about three hours later.
