Police were dispatched to Roswell Animal Services, 705 E. McGaffey St., Wednesday around 9:40 a.m., to take a report of assault. The kennel manager told police she was returning a carrier to a man who had brought in a cat, when the man raised his hand in a sharp gesture as if he were going to strike her. Officials viewed the video footage and then went to speak with the subject. He said he “was only joking.”
Police were called to the 600 block of New Mexico Drive, Wednesday, where a subject threw a rock at a patrol unit, causing damage.
Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of West First Street, Wednesday, after $5,000 worth of tools were removed from the locked cab and cargo box of a pickup.
