Open vehicle window, missing GPS

•Police were called [auth] to the 2400 block of North Garden Avenue, Tuesday, where a subject gained access to a vehicle through an open window and removed a GPS, valued at $200.

•Police were dispatched to Budget Inn, 2101 N. Main St., after someone gained entry to a vehicle and took an MP3 player, an FM transmitter, 3 DVDs and a Samsung cellphone. The losses were estimated at $141.


Police responded to a call from Daylight Donuts, 2101 S. Main St. A representative of the company said that someone had charged $799.27 worth of gas to the company credit card.
