The Roswell Police Department responded to a shots-fired call in the 600 block of South Wyoming Avenue, around 3 a.m. Sunday, where a series of residences had been subjected to a shooting spree.
Officers in their patrol units also heard the sound of gunfire and converged on the area.
The residential area was sprayed with bullets. Six different residences were affected, with three homes and six vehicles hit by the barrage of gunfire.
RPD spokesman Sgt. Jimmy Preston said two people told officers when they looked out their windows, they had guns pointed at them. A third was leaving for work when the suspects hit the neighborhood. No one was injured as a result of the drive-by shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
