Stabbing victim can’t ID assailant

Police were dispatched to Lovelace Regional Hospital, Friday, following a stabbing. The victim told officials that he was attacked from behind. The officer noted two stab wounds and a cut on his hand; however, the victim said he could neither describe his attackers [auth] nor the type weapon used, and signed a waiver of prosecution.


The Roswell Police Department located a runaway around 2 p.m., Thursday. The youth was turned over to Assurance Home. He was reported missing around 2 a.m. Friday.

Criminal damage

Police were called to the 200 block of East Summit Street, Friday, where a man returning to his residence found the window broken and blood all over the porch. The front of his vehicle had been smashed and acceleration marks in the road indicated that his vehicle had been deliberately hit.
