Shooters use paint balls

Police responded to three separate calls about battery, Tuesday, after a subject in a grey Hyundai or Honda shot people with paint balls. One incident occurred near Big Lots, 2505 N. Main St., when a woman was hit on the back, resulting in [auth] bruising. Another happened in the 1800 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue, where two people were shot as they waited at a bus stop. One was hit in the right thigh. The third occurred at the corner of Albuquerque Street and Wyoming Avenue.

Bogus bills

Police were dispatched to Arby’s Restaurant, 1013 N. Main St., Tuesday, where a subject paid for food with two bogus $20 bills, serial numbers IE65470987B and IB72107159B.


Police were called to the 2200 block of Baylor Avenue, Monday, after a subject shoved a threatening letter through the mail slot.
