RPD finds bogus c-note in squad car

Police were called to the 1200 block of East First Street, Tuesday, following a call of shots fired. Four subjects were detained. One subject was transported in a police unit, after which a counterfeit $100 bill was discovered under the rear seat of the vehicle. The unit [auth] had transported two subjects during the shift and the bill may have belonged to the second.

Disorderly conduct

Police were dispatched to Farley’s Fun Food and Pub, 1315 N. Main St., Monday, where one patron punched another in the face. The victim refused to file charges.


Police were called to Target, 2725 N. Main St., Monday, after a subject entered the building and stole two Kindle Fire tablet computers, valued at $358. A representative of the store stated that the same subject had come into the store and removed two Kindle Fires on May 16 and again on May 28. The investigation is ongoing.
