Thief strips car parked on Main St.

•Police received a report of vehicle burglary, Tuesday, after subjects entered a vehicle which was parked on North Main Street because of engine trouble. The subjects took four BF Goodrich 31-inch tires on 15-inch wheels, two KC lights, two whip antennas, a Cobra CB radio, a [auth] leather center console, Interstate 12-volt batteries, a spotlight, a pair of Reebok tennis shoes and a BB gun in its case. The items were valued at $1,930.

•Police were dispatched to the 200 block of North Garden, Tuesday, where subjects broke a window, causing $30 worth of damage, and stole a 52-inch RCA flat-screen television, Emerson home stereo and a portable CD player. The value of the missing items was estimated at $1,010.


Police were called to the 700 block of East Third Street, Tuesday, where subjects gained access to a vehicle and removed an Alcatel One Touch, valued at $239.
