Burglar nicks 2 laptops and a TV

Police were called to [auth] the 100 block of South Missouri Avenue, Tuesday, after a subject stole two HP laptop computers and a 72-inch Mitsubishi TV. The items were valued at $3,800.


The police were called to the 2000 block of North Louisiana Avenue, Wednesday, after one roommate began breaking items inside the home. The second woke up and found the first passed out on the floor. The second roommate woke the first up, who began to batter the second. The victim (second roommate) had a cut on his head and cheek. The first had a bite mark on the back of his head.


Police received a walk-in report, Tuesday, after a subject or subjects removed parts from a van outside a residence, including two windows, the inside passenger door panel and the right rear split window and wiring was also cut. Replacement costs were estimated at $500.

Criminal damage

Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of South Stanton Avenue, Tuesday, where a subject shot out the rear window of a vehicle.
