•Police responded to a call about a burglary in progress, Monday, in the 2000 block of South Richardson Avenue. The woman reported she arrived home to find her door open and a male subject inside her residence. She contacted the police and held the subject at gunpoint until officials arrived at the scene. The 18-year-old was arrested on charges of burglary and is being held at Chaves County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash or surety bond.
•Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of West Juniper Street, Monday, where subjects broke into a garage and removed a Ryobi jigsaw, a Dewalt combo kit, a drill, a circular saw, a Sawsall, a ceramic wet saw, an iPod, and a 2-ton floor jack. The items were valued at $1,665.
•Police were called to the 1100 block of East Beech Street, Monday, after a subject entered an unlocked vehicle and took a Milwaukee cordless drill, Milwaukee drill hammer, Milwaukee grinder, Milwaukee impact wrench and three rechargeable batteries. The value of the missing items was estimated at $1,550.
The Roswell Police Department received a call about a possible domestic dispute, Monday. An officer was flagged down by a concerned citizen in the 100 block of West Tilden Street When the police stopped, the officer heard the sound of breaking glass. The police found a window broken at one of the residences. He contacted the caller who confirmed the location of the incident.
The female subject had taken off on foot down the alley. She was later located and arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damages.
