ABIQUIU, N.M. (AP) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is planning a public forum at Abiquiu Lake in northern New Mexico.
The meeting will start at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the visitor center.
Officials will be talking about spring runoff, the river release forecast and other water operations. Lake staff also plan to address natural resource and recreation projects at the lake.
State and federal water managers have been closely watching snowpack and runoff levels as temperatures begin to warm up across New Mexico.
