Albuquerque police probe possible double homicide

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Authorities are investigating an apparent double homicide in southwest Albuquerque.

Albuquerque police say two young adult men were found dead around [auth] 3 p.m. Thursday near Unser and Arenal Road.

In an arroyo behind homes, police found the two bodies. One was in the arroyo and the other was on the arroyo berm.

The Albuquerque Journal ( says police haven’t determined how the two men died.

Police say there were signs of trauma of the bodies, but won’t elaborate.

It’s unclear if police have any suspects in the case yet.
