Police called in reports of inappropriate contact

Police were called to Gillespie Place, Sunday, to take a report of “inappropriate contact.” The incident occurred in the 100 block of West Byrne, where a man drove up to an 11-year-old girl and began blowing kisses at her. The girl ran away, [auth] but vehicle continued to follow her. The man was described a having black hair, black mustache, wearing a black shirt and a red hat. He was driving a gold four door.

Criminal damage

•The police were dispatched to the 400 block of South Union Avenue, Sunday, after a victim discovered the fence in the back yard had been knocked down and door to the residence opened. No items appeared to be missing. The damages were estimated at $200.

•The police were called to the 1700 block of North Kentucky Avenue, Saturday, where the fence on the north side of the residence was knocked down.
