Thieves take tools, copper, electronics
•Police went to Lonestar Milk Transport, 1023 S. Atkinson Ave., Thursday, where $15,749 worth of tools were reported stolen.
•Police were dispatched to Discount Furniture, 509 E. Second St., Wednesday, after subjects stripped copper from electrical wires and the meter [auth] box.
•Police were sent to the 2100 block of West Juniper, Wednesday, where a door was forced open and a 42-inch flatscreen television, valued at $1,500, was stolen.
•Police were called to the 100 block of North Lea Avenue, Wednesday, when a resident found the door to his residence open. After officers cleared the building, the victim reported that a Warwick 5-string bass guitar, valued at $2,000, and a Toshiba Satellite laptop computer, valued at $600, were missing.

Found property
The police were called to the 500 block of West Greenbriar Street, Wednesday, after the resident found box springs still wrapped in plastic.
