Perp passes phony check

[auth] Police were called to Cash Today, 2801 N. Main St., Tuesday, after a $2,995 cashier’s check cashed at their facility was returned from the bank with notification that it had been faked or altered.


Police were sent to the 3300 block of Futura, Tuesday, after an 8-year-old English bulldog, valued at $1,500, was reported stolen. Officers of Animal Services located the dog and returned it to its owner.


Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of North Main St., Tuesday, after a subject broke into a vehicle and removed a Tom Tom GPS and a Kodak video camera. The value of missing items is $400.
