50-inch TV goes missing

Police were dispatched to A Street, Thursday, where sometime between 7:30 and 11 a.m., a subject gained entry into a home and removed a 50-inch LG flat-screen television, worth $1,112.

A beer skip turned nasty, early Thursday morning, after a subject [auth] stopped at Allsup’s, 2515 W. Second Street, around 4 a.m. and jumped over the barricades and grabbed several cases of beer. When an employee told him that he could not buy alcohol, he threatened to kill her. Then as he attempted to climb over the barricade again, he dropped three cases.


Police received a walk-in report of fraud, Thursday. The victim said he received a call from a business, Allied Cash, claiming that he owned $3,600 for a loan. The victim stated he had never gotten a loan through Allied Cash.
