Santa Fe deputies look for missing speed trailer

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as they search for a speed monitoring trailer that [auth] has gone missing.

The sheriff’s office says the trailer had been placed along Old Santa Fe Trail and was removed some time between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.

The traffic trailer is used to monitor speeds in various Santa Fe neighborhoods. Authorities say it’s an expensive piece of equipment.

Investigators are asking that anyone with information about the trailer or who may have taken it call the sheriff’s office.
