A rosary will be recited for Anna Marie Delgado Valderaz, 41, of Roswell at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at St. Peter’s Catholic [auth] Church with Father Charlie Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Anna passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at her home surrounded by the love of her family.

Anna was born January 19, 1970, to Albert and Alyce Delgado in Roswell. She was a lifetime resident of Roswell, a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and a teacher at Roswell Head Start. Anna was a wonderful woman who cared for all, would open her home to anyone in need, was an inspiration to her husband, touched the hearts of all that knew her and an angel walking here on Earth.

She is survived by her husband Raul Valderaz of the home, her mother Alyce Delgado, her father Albert Delgado Sr., her step-mother Lupe Delgado, her brother Albert A. Delgado, her sister Angelina Delgado, her son Cruz Herrera and significant other Francine Orona, Jaclyn Herrera, Analycia Herrera and significant other Orlando Alfaro, Andrew Herrera, her step-sons, Bradley and John Anthony Valderaz, her step-daughter Nikita N. Valderaz, her mother in-law Lupe Valderaz, her brothers in-law, David and Steven Valderaz, her sisters in-laws, Dolores Borunda, Norma Hernandez and Yvonne Marquez, uncles, Pete Dominguez, Jerry Dominguez, Juan Dominguez and Isias Delgado, her aunts, Rita Dominguez, Angie Fuentes, Elsie and Jane Ornelas.

She was preceded in death by her brother Adrain Delgado, her maternal grandparents, Seferino and Julia Dominguez, her paternal grandparents, Albert and Manuela Delgado, her aunts, Ramona Pacheco and Trini Martinez, her uncles, Alvino Dominguez and Jerry Dominguez, her father-in-law Antonio Valderaz and brother-in-law, Tony Valderaz.

Pallbearers will be Mingo and Rey Alonso, David, Bradley, and Anthony Valderaz and Juan Najera. Honorary pallbearers will be Miguel Alonso, Eddie Pacheco, Lorenzo Cobos, Lori Lopez and Rosemary Mendoza.

    Im am so sorry for the family of Anna, I worked with Anna for a short period of time and in that time she was so sweet and happy, alway on top of talent, so friendly and a hard worker. I hope that her family will heal with the love of God and my condolences go to her entire family.
