SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — An illegal immigrant from China who authorities say helped obtain New Mexico driver’s licenses for several illegal immigrants by using fake documents has been convicted of conspiracy.
Santa Fe jury convicted Tuesday 51-year-old Xian Liu Yue (zee-AHN’ LOO YOO) of conspiring to help illegal immigrants from China living in New York obtain New Mexico driver’s licenses by using fraudulent residential documents.
