Burglars steel wiring and pipes

Police were called on Saturday to the 500 block of South Kansas Avenue, a residence that had been donated to the Church of the Nazarene. Investigation revealed that someone had been sleeping in the vacant home. In addition. The copper pipes, the water heater, wiring, water lines and door had been removed from the home.

• Police received a walk-in report, Saturday, about a vehicle burglary. The victim stated she was visiting someone who resided in the 400 block of West Forest Street. A witness said she saw a male subject remove items from the vehicle. Items listed as stolen include GPS, an Xplode car stereo, a stethoscope, a tool box containing tools, two pairs of sunglasses, and an iPod nano. Value of missing items is estimated at $485.

Auto theft
Police were dispatch to Grace Community Church, 935 W. Mescalaro Rd., Sunday, after a victim returned to the parking lot from church and discovered her vehicle was missing. It is described as 1998 Dodge Stratus, tag number LGC980.

Police were sent to Albertsons Pharmacy, 1110 S. Main St., Saturday, after a woman was caught stealing lice spray and Samy 2-N-1 shampoo.

Police were dispatched to Gail Harris Street, Saturday, where a woman was sitting down paying bills and saw an unknown male subject, dressed in black, leave the residence.
