LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) — Three South Korean women arrested on suspicion of selling sex out of two area massage spas have been formally indicted on the charges.
The Las Cruces Sun-News (http://bit.ly/mRhy7h ) reports a Dona Ana County grand jury charged the women, ages, 45, 49 and 62, with promoting prostitution and accepting earnings of a prostitute.
The three were arrested Aug. 25 during a raid by the Las Cruces Police Department, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the FBI.
A police department spokesman says some of the spas’ former customers have come forward and provided information.
Agents are still investigating whether the spas were connected to other locations in New Mexico, Texas or elsewhere in the country.
